CURRICULUM DRIVERS

To be inquisitive
The maths curriculum will include many opportunities for children to be inquisitive, to ask questions and to make links within their learning.

Children will be given opportunities to reason about number and shape and use these skills to help problem solve.


To be challenged

Children will be challenged in all maths lessons through problem solving and reasoning opportunities. Children will be motivated by success and by challenging themselves to do their very best.


To be resilient

Children will be given the opportunity to become resilient through problem solving and reasoning without giving up. Developing the skills to work independently and becoming resourceful will be key for this.
